Pattern Nexus API

Approved research bots can search the public archive and retrieve licensed plain-text articles directly from PN. No Cloudflare account is required for API clients.

Status: disabled pending administrator activation.

Connect in three steps

  1. Create a PN account and purchase a paid membership through the existing checkout.
  2. Obtain explicit API/license approval and a scoped key from the PN administrator. Membership alone does not create a key or grant training rights.
  3. Use HTTPS and send Authorization: Bearer YOUR_PN_KEY. Never put credentials in URLs.

Available endpoints

GET /api/v1/articles?q=gold&language_id=1&limit=20 — searchable, paginated public metadata.

GET /api/v1/articles/ARTICLE_ID — metadata for a free, published article.

GET /api/v1/articles/ARTICLE_ID?format=text — plain text; requires the articles:content scope.

What remains protected

Member/exclusive/private/scheduled articles, category/global paywalls, admin data and analyst conversations are never unlocked by API keys. Subscription expiry, cancellation, account suspension, key expiry/revocation, quotas and minute limits are enforced on every request. Quotas count API attempts, not monetary charges. x402 and instant automated settlement are not available.
