Search public research and retrieve approved article text directly from PN. Your integration does not need a Cloudflare account.

Start with your existing membership
- Sign in with your PN account and purchase a paid membership through the existing checkout.
- Request licensed API access. Explain your integration and whether you need article text. An administrator reviews the scope and usage allowance.
- After approval, generate your key once in My API access. Send it only over HTTPS in the
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_PN_KEYheader.
Membership alone does not create a key or grant AI-training rights. Key generation uses normal PN sign-in and CSRF protection, not anonymous agent registration.

All URLs use this installation’s base path.
GET api/v1/articles- Search public metadata with keyword, language, category and page filters. Up to 50 records per page.
GET api/v1/articles/{id}- Read metadata for a free, published article.
GET api/v1/articles/{id}?format=text- Retrieve plain text when the approved key includes
articles:content.
