- Open the browser’s Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll through the actions.
- If offered, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.
Pattern Nexus on your home screen
Open PN like an app on your phone or computer. It uses the same website and member account, with no separate app-store download.

If these files are blocked by a security challenge, installation cannot complete. Keep normal site protection; review only the public manifest, worker and icon paths.

- Open Pattern Nexus in Chrome.
- Tap the browser menu ⋮, then Add to Home screen or Install app, if available.
- Follow the browser’s confirmation. Open PN from the new icon.
Computer
- Open Pattern Nexus in a browser that supports web apps.
- Look for an install icon in the address bar or an Install app option in the browser menu.
- Confirm installation. If the option is missing, bookmark PN instead.
Good to know
Can’t see an install option?
Open PN directly in your browser, not inside another app. Menu names vary by browser and device. Installation may not be offered in private browsing. The normal website remains available.
Do I need another account?
No. Use your existing PN account and subscription. Your browser may ask you to sign in again when you first open the installed app.
Does it work without internet?
You need an internet connection to read articles and use PN. The app can show a reconnect screen, but it does not download articles, paid research or private account data for offline reading.
How do I remove it?
Remove the home-screen shortcut or uninstall the web app using your device or browser. This does not delete your PN account or cancel your subscription.
