Research, Editorial Independence and Corrections Standards
Effective Date: August 2, 2026
PN separates sourced facts and data, calculations, interpretation, opinion, scenarios and speculative hypotheses where context requires. Sources should be identified sufficiently for readers to evaluate material claims. Models and estimates should disclose important assumptions and limitations.
Reader memberships, one-time purchases, book sales, affiliates, ads and sponsorships fund PN. Revenue does not buy favorable conclusions. A material personal, financial or professional conflict connected to particular coverage should be disclosed near that content.
Known material factual errors should be corrected. A correction may revise text, charts, calculations, links or metadata and should include an update note when the change materially affects the reader understanding. Changes in opinion or forecasts are not necessarily factual corrections. Report issues to [email protected].
