Pattern Nexus provides optional email updates and newsletters designed to keep readers informed about new articles, analyses, research insights, and platform features. This disclosure explains how we collect, store, and use your email information and how your rights are protected under U.S. and international data-protection laws.

1) Voluntary Subscription

Subscribing to the newsletter is entirely optional. You must provide your email address voluntarily, and we only send messages to individuals who have actively opted in. We never add subscribers without explicit consent.

2) Information We Collect

Email Address (required): Used solely to deliver newsletters and requested communications.
Name (optional): Collected only if you choose to provide it for personalization.
Engagement Metrics: Non-identifying data (opens, link clicks, approximate time of interaction) used to improve newsletter relevance and performance.

3) How Your Information Is Used

To share occasional partner or sponsor messages — always clearly labeled, and only if relevant.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email with advertisers or third parties beyond the secure email service provider used to deliver the messages.

Pattern Nexus may use a reputable third-party platform (e.g., MailerLite, Brevo, or ConvertKit) to manage subscriptions and send newsletters. These providers comply with:

CAN-SPAM Act (United States)

They process your email address solely to deliver communications you requested.

5) Unsubscribing

Every email includes an Unsubscribe link that immediately removes you from all future mailings.
You may also email [email protected] with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line for manual removal.

6) Compliance with CAN-SPAM

Pattern Nexus follows all requirements of the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, including:

Accurate “From” names and subject lines
Clear identification of sender and purpose
Visible unsubscribe mechanisms
No deceptive or misleading content

8) Data Retention

Your information is retained only while your subscription is active.

Active subscribers: Email stored until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
After unsubscribing: Email is removed from active mailing lists within 30 days and fully purged from backups within 90 days.
